This step reinforces the club’s commitment to growing girls’ and women’s football in Caerphilly, ensuring that more young people have the chance to enjoy the game in a safe, inclusive environment.
BE.FC is a nationwide FAW programme designed specifically for teenage girls. The focus is on fun, friendship, and fitness, rather than competition. Sessions are open to all ability levels and aim to keep young players active, confident, and connected with their peers.
For many, it offers a route back into football, or a way to stay involved without the pressures of league matches.
As an official BE.FC provider, Caerphilly Castle FC will now run weekly sessions dedicated to local girls aged 12–16.
This new pathway complements the club’s existing mini, junior, and senior girls’ and women’s teams, giving teenagers more choice about how they engage with football.
Inclusion — Many girls drop out of football around their teenage years. BE.FC tackles this by making sessions friendly and social.
Health & Wellbeing — Beyond fitness, sessions support mental health and confidence.
Community — By running these sessions, Caerphilly Castle FC strengthens its role as a hub for local sport.
Girls aged 12–16 who would like to join Caerphilly Castle FC’s new BE.FC sessions can register online through the FAW’s Play portal:
