The workshop, held at the Miners Community Centre, was an engaging and interactive session where the club’s players delved into key topics such as the definition of racism, its impact on individuals and communities, and strategies for addressing it both on and off the pitch.
A club spokesperson shared:
"The girls learned about racism, what it is, how to tackle it, and how it affects football. Through discussions and interactive games, they came away with a deeper understanding of these important issues."
Special thanks were extended to Tom for his insightful presentation, which captivated the players and fostered meaningful conversations.
Workshops like this are part of Caerphilly Castle FC’s ongoing commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality within the game. By equipping their players with the knowledge and tools to stand against discrimination, the club aims to inspire a future built on respect and unity in football.
Caerphilly Castle FC would also like to thank the Miners Community Centre for hosting the event, which marks another step in creating a positive and inclusive environment for all.
