Latch is a Welsh charity dedicated to helping families affected by childhood cancer. Based at the Children’s Hospital for Wales in Cardiff, Latch provides emotional, practical, and financial support for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families. From free hospital accommodation to grants that ease financial pressures, their support ensures families can focus on what matters most: being together during difficult times.
“Families affected by childhood cancer face immense challenges,” says Latch. “We provide dedicated social workers, hospital accommodation, community activities, and funding for research to improve treatment and care. Our goal is to make sure families don’t face these challenges alone.”
As the tournament’s official charity, Caerphilly Castle FC will be actively supporting Latch in the lead-up to the event. This includes raising awareness of the charity’s vital work, highlighting opportunities for community involvement, and sharing stories that showcase the difference Latch makes in the lives of children and their families across Wales.
We’re excited to work with Latch to make this tournament about more than just football—it’s about community, compassion, and making a tangible difference for families when they need it most.
